Formed in Melbourne in 2010, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard are the famous exception to the infamous rule. 24 studio albums in 10 years also speak a clear workaholic language, and also show that the group has enormous fun in what they do. Their mix of LoFi (hard) rock mixed with garage, psychedelic prog and blues is pretty unique these days. It goes without saying that this comes into it's own live with full force, given the sound melange mentioned. The performances are always at the highest level, even if the set list is hardly recognizable from tour to tour due to the sheer unmanageable output.
