[4CD/DVD] HOLY TERROR - TOTAL TERROR

All-encompassing box set from legendary thrash act Holy Terror. Featuring two studio albums, a demos and rarities set, plus a live album, as well as a DVD full of archive and rare material. Housed in a clamshell box, with five discs in card wallets. CD1 features their 1987 debut album 'Terror and Submission', originally released via Under One Flag, while CD2 features the classic follow up 'Mind Wars', originally released in 1988. Additionally, the third disc features rare demo material, while CD4 showcases the band in their prime live on stage, and the bonus DVD gives fans a chance to witness archive shows filmed in Milwaukee, Chicago and Anaheim. Formed in 1985 in California by guitarist Kurt Kilfelt, formerly of speed metal icons Agent Steel, the band signed to the UK label Music for Nations and released two albums on the Under One Flag imprint. Noted for their socially conscious and erudite lyrics, the band gained a large cult following who enjoyed their aggressive yet innovative approach. Over the years, their status has grown and Holy Terror is now seen as one of the key thrash acts from the mid 80s. Holy Terror toured internationally with the likes of Kreator, D.R.I. and Exodus. They split in 1989, with guitarist Mike Alvord later forming Mind Wars, a band who have released five albums to date and include Holy Terror material in their live shows. This release is complimented with the addition of liner notes by Mike Alvord giving insight into the brief but influential existence of this incredible band.
