Suprême NTM is a French hip hop outfit formed in 1989 in Saint-Denis, a suburb of Paris. The group consists of rappers JoeyStarr and Kool Shen, who both originally started out as breakdancers and graffiti writers. The duo is known for representing the perspective of minorities residing in the underprivileged neighbourhoods of Paris and beyond through dark, gritty, politically-conscious lyrics. In 1998 they released their last album featuring original material titled "Suprême NTM" and is arguably their biggest success, selling 40. 000 copies on the first day. A hit with both the mainstream and the underground, the NTM tours filled venues worldwide, including two nights at Le Zénith in Paris. This record is a compilation of tracks recorded over those two dates at the legendary Zénith and features all the big hits brought to you with extra energy only a live crowd can generate.
