The Croatian cellists duo, Luka Sulic and Stjepan Hauser known collectively as 2Cellos released their self-titled debut album in 2011. It contains cover songs of a wide range of popular songs which work really well in cello form. The cello is a cool instrument and can provide a powerful emotive feeling, shown on songs like U2's 'Where the Streets Have No Name', and King's Of Leon 'Use Somebody'. Cellos can also create energetic, positive tones like on Michael Jackson's 'Smooth Criminal', Guns N' Roses' 'Welcome to the Jungle' and the high tempo 'Misirlou'.
