After hooking up with Ten's Gary Hughes for his first three solo albums, and his fellow Hard Rain band-mate Paul Hodson for his fourth, when it came to 'Spirit of Man', Bob's fifth album, the Magnum vocalist worked with the guys from Lost Weekend, along with Vince O'Regan (Escape, Legion, Pulse), who had been Bob's touring guitarist for many of his solo shows. Vince and Bob also played many acoustic shows, and during this productive period the duo retired to Vince's studio and recorded acoustic versions of songs covering Bob's full solo career. The result is 11 songs highlighting the beloved velvet tones of Catley's vocals and the melodic clarity of O'Regan's delicate finger picking. No Magnum songs, but then this is purely a record of Bob Catley's wonderful and highly successful solo career.
