This melting pot of influences is evident on "She Funked Me", a twisted post-disco haze and the 24-year-old multi-instrumentalist's Fat Possum debut. The artist, born Miles Shannon, is a formidable tenor sax player and a graduate of the prestigious Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. His recording debut was nothing short of playing piano on Earl Sweatshirt's landmark 2015 depression suite I Don't Like Shit, I Don't Go Outside.
