While their previous albums (Convicted, Money Talks) established them as one of the fastest bands on the West Coast, Stream pushes the boundaries of that sound further. Despite being recorded during a time of band turbulence, it offers a raw, bass-heavy, and "manic" sound that is widely considered an underrated, essential slab of 80s extreme music.
