Frequently asked questions
Everything buyers ask most often, in one place. If your question is not here, write to biuro@globalvinylmarket.com.
Where do you ship from?
Every order leaves our warehouse in the European Union. Records are picked, checked and packed by us, never forwarded to you by a third party from outside the EU.
Which countries do you deliver to?
We ship worldwide. Depending on the destination you can choose a courier, a parcel locker or postal delivery. The options available for your address appear in the cart once you enter the delivery country.
How much does delivery cost?
The cost depends on the destination country, the delivery method and the weight of the parcel, so it is calculated in the cart and shown in full before you pay. Details are on the Shipping costs page.
Will I pay customs duties or import VAT?
Customers in the European Union pay no customs duties and no import VAT, because the goods are already in free circulation inside the EU.
Orders going outside the EU, for example to the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, the United States, Canada or Australia, may be subject to local duties and import taxes. Those are set by the destination country and paid by the recipient.
When will my order be dispatched?
- In stock — as soon as your payment clears.
- Sourced to order — 5 to 30 business days from payment.
- Pre-order — within 10 to 15 days of the official release date.
- Titles imported from the USA — a few business days longer, because of transatlantic transit and customs clearance. These titles are marked in the product description.
The availability type is shown on every product page and repeated in the status e-mails we send.
What does pre-order mean?
A pre-order reserves a copy of a title that has not been released yet. Release dates are set by the label and can move for reasons outside our control; if that happens we tell you by e-mail.
We do not split orders. If your basket mixes a title available now with a pre-order, the whole order ships together with the item released last.
Are the records new?
Yes. Everything we sell is brand new and factory sealed.
Sleeve images and descriptions come from manufacturer and distributor catalogues, so the final pressing can differ in detail. If a description does not name the colour of a pressing, the distributor does not publish that information, which usually means a standard black pressing.
Which currencies can I pay in?
Euro and US dollar. Switch currency in the top bar; the catalogue, the cart and the checkout all follow the currency you choose.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Payments are handled by Stripe: Visa and Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link, Revolut Pay, Klarna, SEPA Direct Debit, iDEAL, Bancontact and EPS. Which of them appear at checkout depends on your country and your device.
Can I return an order?
Yes. You have 14 days to withdraw from the contract. Fill in the withdrawal form, send it to biuro@globalvinylmarket.com and wait for our authorisation before sending anything back; parcels returned without authorisation are not accepted.
Both forms and the full procedure are on the Returns and complaints page.
What if my record arrives damaged or faulty?
Use the complaint form and describe the defect precisely, giving the side and the exact time, for example side A, 4 min 20 s, so the distributor can locate it without doubt. For sleeve damage, attach photographs.
If the sleeve is damaged, tell us before you remove the shrink wrap. Minor pressing imperfections that do not affect playback are not treated as defects.
