Payment methods

All payments are handled by Stripe, a licensed payment institution. You pay online at checkout; we never see or store your full card number.

What you can pay with

  • Payment card: Visa, Mastercard.
  • Apple Pay and Google Pay.
  • Link, the one-click wallet built into Stripe.
  • Revolut Pay.
  • Klarna.
  • SEPA Direct Debit, iDEAL, Bancontact and EPS.

Which of these appear depends on your country and your device. Apple Pay shows in Safari on an Apple device with a card in Wallet; Google Pay shows in Chrome with a card saved to your Google account.

On product pages and in the cart you can also use the express wallet button: choose Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link, confirm the address and delivery in the wallet sheet, and the order is placed without filling in the checkout form.

Currencies

You can pay in euro or US dollar. Switch currency in the top bar; the catalogue, the cart and the checkout all follow your choice.

When payment is taken

Payment is taken at checkout, including for pre-orders, which reserves your copy. An order whose payment has not been completed is not accepted for processing.

Your bank may ask you to confirm the payment (3-D Secure). Without that confirmation the payment does not go through.

Refunds

Refunds always go back to the payment method used for the order; card payments are returned to the account linked to that card. The rules for withdrawal and complaints are described on the Returns and complaints page.
