Alma Brown and the A1 Gospel Singers was formed in 1982 with original members Alma Brown, her husband, her sister, a brother and a cousin. This quartet has worked with artists such as the Canton Spirituals, Lee Williams, Spiritual QC's and Doc McKenzie and the Highlites. After years of performing on major quartet programs and events throughout the gospel circuit, Alma & A-1 gained wide attention with the public and in 2017 were signed to the Ecko Records label
