In the 1990s, Deitrick Haddon & Voices Of Unity hit the gospel music scene like a pioneering urban pop choir with Haddon as it's charismatic Michael Jackson-Prince styled frontman. Their highly successful 19-track album, 'Chain Breaker,' was and remains a pulsating pioneering audio statement with a bold proclamation of faith! To celebrate the album's 25th anniversary, Haddon has taken 11 of the tracks and re-imagined them. Among the chosen, are two versions of the initial set's biggest hit "Anybody Here." One version is an infectiously festive groove featuring DJ Malski & Angel Chisholm (daughter of The Clark Sisters' Jacky Clark-Chisholm). The other is an equally satisfying southern soul remake featuring vocal dynamo, Jekalyn Carr. The project is rounded out with guest appearances from the likes of Hezekiah Walker, Fred Hammond, John P. Kee and even Haddon's former wife Damita, who sang on many of the original songs.
