BILLY BOY ARNOLD - SINGLES COLLECTION (180G)

A singer, songwriter and harmonica player in his own right, over the course of six decades Billy Boy Arnold also played the role of sideman for numerous blues legends : Bo Diddley, Otis Rush, Earl Hooker, Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters and Little Walter amongst them. In blues terms, that's a pretty impressive CV. As might be expected, there's a strong Bo Diddley influence on much of this album, with some great wailing harmonica throughout. Featured here on 180g vinyl are some of Billy Boy Arnold's very best recordings. It's a nice selection of songs, with Billy Boy proving an inventive and intelligent lyricist.
