Dead Horse's debut album Caught The Nonsense is a chaotic, darkly funny descent into the absurd. Across 11 tracks and just over 30 minutes, the London trio collide jagged post-punk, mutant surf riffs, dance-punk grooves and deranged sax with surreal lyrics about memory, onions and the futility of modern life. Following the EPs Dead Horse I, Hot Martyr and Ménagerie Trois, the record pushes the band's warped humour and controlled musical chaos into it's sharpest and strangest form yet. Equal parts feral and theatrical, it sits somewhere between OSEES, Warmduscher, Viagra Boys, The Fall and The Cramps, while remaining unmistakably Dead Horse. Recorded and produced by long-standing collaborator Connor Jones at Humm Studios, Bristol, and mastered by Grammy Award-winning engineer Shawn Joseph at Optimum Mastering. Released by Sister 9 Recordings on limited-edition green marbled 12-inch vinyl.
