Mutabaruka, along with Linton Kwesi Johnson, was a creator of the dub-poetry style of reggae music which combines heavy reggae riddims with strong social and political poetic commentary. Releasing six acclaimed albums and touring widely internationally, Mutabaruka remains the face of the dub-poetry movement, with his profile amplified by his controversial radio show heard online around the world and his many provocative YouTube video commentaries that he regularly posts. Produced by legendary dub master/producer Mad Professor, Black Attack is Mutabaruka's first album in 14 years and will be an event in reggae circles.
